Hey, thanks for stopping by. My name is Angelika Thorn and I’m a Photographer based in Whangarei, NZ where I own my photo studio and create beautiful photos for beautiful people. Before I settled in NZ - I travelled the world (visited over 40 countries) and lived in places such as Belarus, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia for a number of years. This is where I developed a passion for photography and especially street people photography. In 2013 I turned my passion into profession. 100 + weddings later, countless portrait/family/children photosessions, numerous workshops - I am still loving. My latest photo addiction is pet photography. Love working with our little furry friends. And when I am not taking photos I making the most of living in Beautiful Northland: exploring, going to the beach with my dog Bonnie, going out on a boat with my hubby and when there is a chance to have a longer break - relaxing somewhere on Fiji or skiing in Japan.
