Family and Children photography for me is all about capturing those amazing smiles, giggles and loving moments between family members. Your session will be laid back and designed to allow you and your beloved ones to be yourselves.
Photo Studio
I offer a range of photo services in my fully equipped photo studio in Whangarei: portrait photography, commercial photography, pet photography, business portraits, children and family photoshoots - you name it - I will make it happen.
Pets
Pet photography is my latest photo addiction. I Love, love, love doing this. Why not spoil your furry friend with a professional photosession? It can be done in my fully equipped photo studio or at any location where your pet feels at ease.
Weddings
To be a wedding photographer to me means making you look the most beautiful and loving couple on the entire planet and reflect it in your wedding photos. I always give my best to provide you with fresh, candid and creative photography.

A little bit about Photographer ...

Hey, thanks for stopping by. My name is Angelika Thorn and I’m a Photographer based in Whangarei, NZ where I own my photo studio and create beautiful photos for beautiful people. If you like my work then don’t hesitate to reach out.

Before I settled in NZ - I travelled the world (visited over 40 countries) and lived in places such as Belarus, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia for a number of years. This is where I developed a passion for photography and especially street people photography. In 2013 I turned my passion into profession.

100 + weddings later, countless portrait/family/children photosessions, numerous workshops - I am still loving being a photographer.

My latest photo addiction is pet photography. I Love working with our little (or not so little) furry friends: cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, rabbbits and guinea pigs, pure breed or rescue ones - bring them all.

And when I am not taking photos I am making the most of living in Beautiful Northland: exploring, going to the beach with my dog Bonnie, going out on a boat with my hubby and when there is a chance to have a longer break - relaxing somewhere on Fiji or skiing in Japan.
